Player / Parent / Coaches Contract

Players:
I ______________________ , understand that being a member of GTYLAX I have certain responsibilities. The three of the most important responsibilities are:
· Family.
· Academics.
· Team.
As ambassadors of Gloucester Township we expect that our players act in the highest moral standards and will not willingly participate in any activity that will draw negative attention to us (GTYLAX) as individuals, or as a team.
This includes:
· Foul Language / Talking back.
· Fighting.
· Intentionally hurting another person or player (verbal or physically).
Parents:
I understand as a player of a parent that I need to also be active in my player’s participation by making sure:
· They are meeting or exceeding the minimum requirements in their academic studies.
· Inform the coach or team parent, if your player is unable to make practice or a game.
· Arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of scheduled practice
· Arrive at designated field no less than 30 minutes in advance of a game. Failure to do so could lead to an accidental forfeit due to lack of players.
Coaches:
I will
· Arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of scheduled practice.
· Arrive at designated field no less than 45 minutes in advance of a game.
· Convey any changes in practice or game schedule to the team parent or players as necessary.
· Do my best to lead and teach in a positive way, in accordance with the Positive Coaches Alliance
· Follow all the rules of the league, and US Lacrosse.
